This was my first visit after seeing their TikTok video, and I must say, the Mitayee is absolutely to die for—so fresh and juicy! I tried the samosa as well, and thank goodness (Allah ka shuker hai) someone truly understands authentic flavours. The pakoras, samosas, and tikki were all bursting with flavours. The biryani was tasty, fresh, and served in huge portions. Ma Sha Allah, overall a solid 5-star experience. Aunty G, your food is amazing—5 stars for you! May Allah bless you with immense barakah and success. Ameen. Jazak Allah Khair!

Offering a blend of classic favorites and unique creations, there’s something to please every palate. The dishes are crafted with care and attention, highlighting the rich spices and bold flavors that make this cuisine so beloved.
For starters, you might want to try the popular samosas, golden and crispy on the outside, filled with a savory mixture of spiced potatoes and peas. They're the perfect way to begin your meal, and they pair wonderfully with the restaurant's house-made chutneys. Another standout is the paneer tikka, which showcases paneer marinated in a blend of aromatic spices and grilled to perfection. It’s smoky, tangy, and incredibly satisfying.
When it comes to the mains, Lali Gurash truly shines. The butter chicken is a must-try; tender chicken pieces bathed in a creamy, tomato-based sauce with just the right amount of spice. It’s comfort food at its finest, and it’s a dish that keeps diners coming back for more. For those who enjoy something a little spicier, the lamb vindaloo offers a bold, flavorful experience with a fiery kick that packs a punch.
Vegetarian options at Lali Gurash are also top-notch. The dal tadka is a hearty lentil dish infused with garlic, cumin, and a medley of spices, creating a rich, flavorful base that pairs perfectly with rice or naan. The mixed vegetable curry is another excellent choice, offering a colorful assortment of vegetables cooked in a fragrant, aromatic sauce that’s both satisfying and wholesome.
No visit to Lali Gurash would be complete without sampling their freshly baked naan bread. Soft and pillowy, it’s perfect for dipping into curries or soaking up the last remnants of a delicious sauce. The garlic naan is a particularly popular choice, bringing an extra layer of flavor with its savory, garlicky finish.

For those seeking a bit of variety, the restaurant also offers a selection of traditional South Asian beverages, including mango lassi-a refreshing yogurt-based drink with just the right amount of sweetness-and masala chai, a spiced tea that is both comforting and fragrant.

From only £1. The food here is delicious. Cooked in front of you. It's a basic cafe style takeaway with several large tables and plastic chairs - but the food is great at a great price. I know of no other restaurant that serves freshly made onions bajhi's for only £1. Try it - you will be back again and again
Nice Indian food available. The aunty and uncle are very friendly and suggests what to try today. Food is really good and tastes more Indian. I have tried Puri tarkari , chicken curry, onion bhaaji, jalebi, and tava roti. Everything was good. Quantity is also enough for 1 person. Must visit. Most important and impressive thing is they have very affordable prices for every dish. Give a visit.
Small take away with a few tables but has very good food. They have a mixture of Nepali, Indian, and Pakistai dishes, along with a few British Indian dishes. Don't go by the down to earth look the food is freshly made and great and the service is friendly.
